Miranda has had a long journey home. She lived in one home for five years, then she found herself being shifted among relatives. She finally ended up with NGAA. A trip to the vet revealed that she has feline leukemia - not a death sentence but she couldn't be with uninfected cats.

Miranda is a sweetheart and soon found a home, but then her new owner had to move and she ended up back in foster care, this time with the president of NGAA, who had a room she devoted to just Miranda. Miranda was pampered and loved (and dressed up) but she still needed a permanent home.

When NGAA became overwhelmed with kittens in need of foster care, the parents of an NGAA volunteer offered to babysit Miranda for two weeks to free up space for the incoming kittens. It didn't take nearly that long for them to realize they loved this beautiful girl and the girl who had found it hard to trust people after so many moves fell in love with them! Miranda is now Murphy and she is in her forever home!
